Run your compute-intensive and general purpose workloads sustainably with the new Amazon EC2 C8g, M8g instances
Today we’re announcing general availability of the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) C8g and M8g instances. C8g instances are AWS Graviton4 based and are ideal for compute-intensive workloads such as high performance computing (HPC), batch processing, gaming, video encoding, scientific modeling, distributed analytics, CPU-based machine learning (ML) inference, and ad serving. Also Graviton4 based, M8g instances provide the best price performance for general purpose workloads. M8g instances are ideal for applications such as application servers, microservices, gaming servers, mid-size data stores, and caching fleets. Today, we are announcing the availability of AI21 Labs’ powerful new Jamba 1.5 family of large language models (LLMs) in Amazon Bedrock.
